REMOTE MOUNT –   Fritz SRB V2– Speedometer Ratio Box
The Fritz SRB is a fully mechanical, inline ratio gearbox that allows you to adjust your speedometer reading 2.5% incremental adjustments in minutes — no electronics, no permanent modifications, no sending your gauge out for service.  Simply choose your desired ratio by selecting pulley sizes/ ratio.   Ships ready to install (no Cables Included).  Assembled to each order, so allow a couple days for me to do that.

Extra pulleys and belts available to change ratio in your own garage as you see fit – to dial in your speedometer exactly where your happy with the reading error % in the speed range you deem most important to you for that car.  No need to send it back to me to adjust, you can do it!

Description

Remote Mount dual M18x1.5 threaded ends.

Remove factory Speedometer cable from the gauge.

Find spot to Mount the box that works with Existing OEM Speedometer cables lengths – most used in factory EGR box equipped VWs from the 1970s including bay window and Super beetles.  Cables not included or available through FritzCP.com.  Many VW parts houses have them in stock.  you must measure and calculate correct lengths

Box has M4x.070 Threaded holes built into the base to facilitate a bracket mount point.

Attach cables.   make sure box front is input (tire) side, output is on back/ Gauge Side – This has the tensioner pulley slot adjustment

Drive and test.   adjust idler tension as needed.
